The Happy Sun, a dream
I was with a small group of people on a large well maintained grassy area. Behind us was a sort of smooth sandstone wall that sloped away from us, maybe 12 feet tall. In front and perhaps 25 yards away was another similar wall sloping the opposite way from us at probably the same height only this wall was covered with a lovely smooth metal like a mixture of liquid silver and copper. One of the guys alerted me that we could see the sun reflecting off this beautiful shiny metallic wall. Sure enough the sun was blazing, just like it does and doing all sorts of fun stuff in its outer layers. It seemed fully conscious of our watching it. I watched it, amazed at its gentle performance and feeling fortunate to be able to see it this way, it being a reflection in the wall and all. Then suddenly it created these great fingers of yellow orange reaching farther and farther out. The sun shot those fingers (solar flares?) directly at earth/us. There were several rays and I knew they would becoming at us from behind since we were watching the sun's reflection. I was a bit concerned knowing that our star is a nuclear and magnetic furnace. I prepared to retreat, yet as I looked at the group no one else seemed concerned. Indeed, everyone was running towards where they thought the rays would impact the earth, so I happily joined them, glad to consider the sun a friend. Instead of radiation or firey infernos impacting the earth, what landed were quite large, feather-light yellow/orange fabric "balls" with smiley faces on them. Each ball was one smiley face. I found one and hugged it to me. It was a light ball of golden fabric and remained inflated with air, elongating with my embrace. It was one happy scene!
